Rick Mikesell formed RSM Investments, Inc. in 2004 after selling Cummings Oil Co. The objective - create a commercial real estate portfolio with an emphasis on location, type and quality of tenancies.

Today, RSM has shifted focus, we target new acquisitions in the urban markets of Oregon and California with an emphasis on value-add opportunities of well-located real estate.

RSM has a strong team of real estate professionals based out of our Bend, Oregon office. We take pride in relationships with clients, tenants, service providers and the community at large as a hands-on owner and management company.  

The RSM portfolio ranges from historic buildings which have been thoughtfully restored, to modern structures with state-of-the-art amenities. Our buildings reflect our intention as we continue to reinvest and improve quality, keeping them at the top of the industry.  

Since inception, RSM Investments, Inc. has doubled the size of its portfolio while maintaining a strategic equity-to-debt ratio. A strong foundation has allowed us to grow into an ever-adapting, forward-thinking company – all we see ahead is potential as we continue to pursue legacy properties that will remain in our portfolio for generations to come.
